Jekyll Island Travel Guide | Westin Resort Stay, Driftwood Beach & Things to Do

We took a relaxing trip to Jekyll Island and stayed at the Westin Jekyll Island Beach Resort—and it delivered exactly what you want from a coastal getaway: laid-back vibes, great location, and easy access to everything on the island.

In this video, we share the full experience, including:

  • What it’s like staying at the Westin Jekyll Island (location, atmosphere, and amenities)
  • Dining at local favorites like Wee Pub and Willets Lowcountry
  • Scenic beach walks along the Atlantic coastline
  • A visit to Driftwood Beach—one of the most unique and underrated beaches in Georgia

We visited in February, which turned out to be a great time to go if you prefer fewer crowds, cooler weather, and a quieter, more peaceful experience.

You may notice a few moments of shaky footage as we were still dialing in our camera setup, but it’s all part of improving and documenting the journey.

If you’re looking for a quick getaway from Florida or a peaceful coastal destination with beautiful scenery and plenty to explore, Jekyll Island is definitely worth considering.
